Meet Dr. Kristine Pedersen (Denver, CO)

Dr. Pedersen, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Science Communication from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

During her clinical training, Dr. Pedersen gained experience in a variety of care settings, including private practice, the VA Hospital, and the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center. These experiences helped shape her commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate eye care for patients with complex visual needs. She also developed a strong interest in ocular disease and low vision care.

After graduating, Dr. Pedersen moved to Colorado with her wife and two rescue dogs to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Insight Vision Group. Her residency training further strengthened her interests in glaucoma management, emergency eye care, post-operative management, and ocular disease care.
